Education is a process of empowerment.
The Center promotes education as a process of empowerment. Elevating queer Iowans in the pursuit of their dreams and education is essential to the Center's values. We offer an annual scholarship to an LGBTQ-identifying high school senior preparing for their first year of college. People of color, transgender, and gender expansive individuals are deeply valued and encouraged to apply. Please contact the Center for more details on applying for the scholarship. Recipients are determined by an outside committee of LGBTQ community members.
The annual deadline for the application is March 1st.
